Aquatic therapy provides advantages such as alleviating pain, enhancing flexibility, and promoting muscle relaxation.
Water buoyancy can support walking with partial bodyweight assistance. The warmth and buoyancy can help manage chronic pain, increase range of motion, and promote muscle relaxation, while water resistance can be used for strength training. Aqua Dynamics’ Hydroworx unit allows water temperature and depth to be customized and includes an underwater treadmill for gait and endurance training.
